Meet The Team
Chief PlannerIvy Pendleton is the Creative Director and Chief Planner. She brings more than 18 years of event marketing and public relations experience to CBD. She is one of the most sought after communications strategists and event planners in the Washington DC metropolitan area. She handles new clients and is the point of contact for vendor procurement and contract negotiation.
Planner and Logistics SpecialistKamaria Salau is the most Senior Logistics specialist at CBD. She works closely with the Chief Planner in Marketing, Public Relations and manages overall protocol. She serves as the onsite events manager for high profile and agency events. Kamaria has worked with CBD on events with the White House, Central Bank of Nigeria, World Bank member countries, TCA, just to name a few. Kamaria has been working with CBD on special events since 2008.
Logistics SpecialistMichael is a seasoned logistics specialist who has been working the CBD since 2007. His expertise in registration, guest list management and facilities operations. He works closely onsite with executives. Michael has worked with CBD Special Events for the Government of Brazil, Central Bank of Nigeria, World Bank and the White House, just to name a few.
Official Agency PhotographerFritz Blakey is a top photographer in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. He has photographed CBD events with First Lady Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Cicely Tyson, The Africa Finance Corporation, and the Central Bank of Nigeria. Principal at Fritz Photographics, he works collaboratively with the Ivy Pendleton, Chief Planner to provide award worthy photography services to CBD. As the CBD agency photographer, he captures the momentum of each event and memorable details. As an event photographer, he has the expertise to deliver photography products in several formats.
Chief VideographerWe work exclusively with Award Winning Cinematographer Marshall Levy to produce the visual aspects of our major events. He produces video presentations for our events with First Lady Mrs. Michelle Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and House Speaker John Boehner in Washington, DC, for our international Diplomatic Delegations among other projects.
